My Story
Volleyball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Serbia, where the sport isn’t just a game it’s a passion that brings people together. I spent seven years playing in the Serbian First and Second Leagues, and during that time I was fortunate enough to experience the highs of winning championships in both divisions. Those years taught me discipline, teamwork, and most importantly, how much joy this sport can bring when shared with others.
When I transitioned into coaching, my journey started with Club Valjevo, where I had the honor of helping the team win the First League of Serbia and later the Second League. Later, with Club Lucky Star Belgrade, I was part of another incredible run, securing two more victories in the Second League. These moments shaped not only my coaching career but also my belief that hard work and trust build champions both on and off the court.
For the past three years in the UAE, I’ve had the privilege of working with young athletes across all age groups from U10s just learning the basics, to U18s competing at higher levels. Coaching kids of all abilities, from beginners to advanced players, has reminded me why I fell in love with volleyball in the first place: it’s not just about winning games, but about creating an environment where every player feels valued and supported.
That’s why I started Legacy Volleyball Academy. I wanted to build more than just a place to train I wanted to create a community. An academy where kids could learn, grow, make memories, and feel like they belong to something bigger than themselves. Volleyball is the reason we come together, but it’s the friendships, the lessons, and the sense of family that keep us here.
My philosophy is simple: “Come for the volleyball, stay for the family.”
And that’s the legacy I hope to build with every player who walks through our doors.
